ABOUT THE PROJECT
KYR PROJECTKYR aims to train migrant workers to improve their knowledge on their rights in the workforce, both within specific countries and according to EU employment laws. KYR will develop approaches to reach out to migrant workers using online tools and peer mentoring, presenting information in 3-5 languages in each country in cooperation with trained peers. The project will provide skills on labor legislation to migrants and the overall objective is to create processes and good practices that can then be developed further to reach new migrants groups.
TARGET GROUPThe KYR project aims to improve public initiatives such as inspections in the workplace by promoting and raising awareness about national and European legislation and regulations on workers' rights. In addition, it seeks to train migrant workers in order to improve their knowledge about their labour rights.
RESULTSAcquisition of new skills and competences in the field of labour laws and support mechanism for migrant workers as well as increasing their active involvement in an European-wide migrant support network. Raising awareness on migrant workers' situations and challenges; empowering the workers and creating a safe working environment.
DURATIONThe project will last 24 months: from the 1st September 2019 to the 31st August 2021.
The Project is funded by the European Commission in the framework of Erasmus+ programme – KA2 Strategic Partnerships in the field of Adult education.

Key activities of Einurd include projects related to community and strategy development, innovation and financing. Prior experience lies in tourism marketing, innovation training, conference preparation, investment and financing, international cooperation, proposal writing, vocational training, adult education, engineering and financial management.
Center for Social Innovation is focusing on developing and introducing disruptive solutions to systemic social, education and economic problems. The interaction at the stakeholder layer is achieved through brainstorming, field research and focus groups and at the scientific level is done through literature and scientific research reviews.
Social Innovation Fund works in many different spheres such as democracy building, women’s human rights, gender equality and diversity, as well as social inclusion of socially disadvantaged groups (unemployed, disabled, immigrants, youth-drug users, women survivors of domestic violence, trafficking and prostitution, etc.).
