Einurd was founded in 2010 and is an organization involved in adult education and community development.
Einurd has considerable experience in education and training for community development, the organization has also been involved in teaching basic computer skills for the elderly as well as coordinating training in “community coaching and ngagement” within fragile communities through the INTERFACE project.
Compass, Austria
The Compass GmbH is dedicated to the socio-economic inclusion of migrants by supporting them in improving and expanding their competencies and skills. Specifically, Compass is involved in projects to strengthen migrants in general, to support gender equality, to facilitate access migrants to new technologies, and to increase their employability.
Center for Social Innovation (CSI), Cyprus
Center for Social Innovation (CSI) is a Research and Development organization which focuses on fostering social innovation that can bring about a positive change to local, national, regional and global contexts. CSI belief, is that the four pillars of Social Interaction, Education, Development and Economic Rationalization coupled with fundamentally sound and sustainable solutions as well as disruption to streamlined solutions to systemic social problems can lead to creative solutions that impact significant change to the social fabric of every society.
The areas of expertise are in the fields of Vocational Education and Training, labor market, education and e-learning, social entrepreneurship, project management, project evaluation services, product validation, and training.
Jafnréttishús, Iceland
Equality Centre/Jafnréttishús is a private NGO founded in April 2008 in Hafnarfjordur, Iceland. It is an international not for profit adult education provider. On average, it provides education to over 300 learners per year in various fields (such as language skills, culture of other nations, etc.).
The main goals of the organization are:
- Promote equality and work on its implementation;
- Raise awareness and help the more sensitive parts of society (discriminated by race, faith, sexual orientation, etc.) and the “silenced” parts of society (women, children, immigrants, disabled, etc.);
- Empower the sectors of society who are otherwise neglected and enable them to find help, defend themselves or negotiate equality.
Social Innovation Fund (SIF), Lithuania
Social Innovation Fund is non-governmental organisation, established in 1994 to assist people with fewer opportunities and disadvantaged backgrounds to make positive changes in their life through the provision of educational opportunities, social support, information and advice. Since its establishment the SIF works with different socially disadvantaged groups: long-term unemployed, disabled, single parents, migrants, people in remote areas, women survivors of domestic violence. SIF provides help and assistance to the low-skilled adults having fewer opportunities in the society and the labour market, with a special focus on women. It aims to foster their social inclusion, employability and entrepreneurship through training, guiding, coaching and mentoring services as well to contribute to their empowerment and building their capacities to be competent and successful in the labour market.
ACCIÓN LABORAL, Spain
“Acción Laboral” is a non-profit organization, with a nationwide field of action with more than 20 offices and 100 employees. Acción Laboral has developed more than 100 comprehensive programmes of employment and training at national level, supporting more than 10.000 users and getting a relocation average of 50%. The name of the company, “Acción Laboral” (Labour Action), indicates its main activity, aimed at labour market insertion and outplacement, through the development of Integral Employment Plans and Training courses. The objectives of these programs are the improvement of employment services and professional integration for unemployed people, which include adult people with difficult labour insertion, people with disabilities, migrants, long-term unemployed people, young people without qualifications, women, people with low literacy skills, etc. “Acción Laboral” has developed a working method which allows the organization to carry out programs anywhere and in a clear-defined time, achieving very satisfying results. This organisation has a social purpose, trying to help to improve the quality of life, pointing out its efforts to outplacement.
Asociación Caminos, Spain
The activities of the non-profit association “Caminos” founded in 2014 are dedicated to the field of education and social work.
Our name “Caminos” (Spanish for “paths”) indicates the importance of finding new ways to reach goals and discover individual resources and opportunities to overcome challenges together. We focus on the development and transfer of innovative methods from other countries within the European context to Spanish entities that offer permanent services.
Main objectives include fostering the exchange and communication, improving individual opportunities of development, supporting the social inclusion of disadvantaged people and developing innovative methodologies in the field of training, education and social development through national and international cooperation.
